Phylogenetic relationships and processes of evolution are the main focus of my research and I’m going to work in the Pheromone group. There I will study the host-race formation in the browntail moth, Euproctis chrysorrhoea L. (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae). I will assess if browntail moth populations feeding on different host trees across Europe are genetically differentiated and, if so, to what extent is this related to differences in the host trees.
