Hi! I am a postdoc working with Sisel Sjöberg to understand thermoregulatory challenges birds face during migratory flight. My research interests include migration, energetics, thermal biology, fatty acids, and mitochondrial metabolism as a physiological ecologist.
I completed my MSc and PhD at Western University in London, Canada, where I studied the effects of dietary n-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids on metabolic and thermoregulatory physiology of migratory sandpipers from mitochondria to whole-animal performance.
Beyond research, I like to knit, play guitar, and run. Thank you all for the warm welcome here in Lund!
