My project focuses on the effects of tillage in arable fields. I will
investigate how reduced tillage intensity affect C sequestration and C quality, soil P content as well as the vertical distribution and balance between fungi and bacteria. As a basis for the study I will sample soil and roots from three long-term experimental agricultural fields in Sweden that each contain conventional, reduced and no till treatments.
